HAWK TIME

I know most of the readers of this tiny blog could care less about the Seattle Seahawks, but I don't do this for my readers, I do this because it's my blog.

This victory ends two decades of football futility, and I for one am glad it is over with. A hard fought victory without the league's offensive MVP is impressive. Matt Hasselbeck is the most underrated QB in football. The guy can run the west coast offense like clock work. The Redskins brought heart and intensity, but at the end of the day, the better team won.

The NFC championship will be the biggest sports event in the history of Seattle. Should be a great show.

GO SEAHAWKS!!!!

PS - I am also glad to see the hated Broncos beat the hated Patriots. It's a lesser of two evils thing for me... :-)

I couldn't care "more" (and shouldn't) for the Seattle Seahawks. I am glad to see your tribute post paid to our beloved Hawks. They run deep with me. Many painful (and glorious) weekends in front of the tube with my brother and step-dad and a bunch of games in the Kingdome with my dad (season tickets)...all make it worth it!

And since the Colts have lost...I am now thinking the Hawks might have a chance to win the...nope, I'm not going to say it. They've got one more game. It will be hard fought, I'm sure.

And I think you mean "weevils" not "evils". Sorry for that. I just got done watching "Master & Commander" with Katie. We don't do movie night very often so I'm a little giddy right now. Please forgive me.
